I was quite excited by Monument Valley. The ride to get there was very peaceful through those buildings of rocks, as Andrea has filmed on the DVD.
That formation of monuments has been created by wind erosion. Initially it was a leveled plateau, that cracked under volcanic activity and became subject to wind erosion.
Louis has been joining us all the way. His Name comes from Andrea's middle name Louise. He came with me on my motorcycle trip through Oregon and since joins us in our travels. He has seen it all. Not a complain.
After a hot day, we rode a couple of hourse through a cold night. Enjoying the last seconds of sunshine.
