Mount Rainier

With such a name, it had to be done.

Mount Rainier is an old volcanoe with the rivers of lava still very obvious today, although very safe. We did the 5-hour hike up to the 'glacier'. For those who have hiked in higher mountains, it may seem funny to call it so, but in the end snow and ice do stay there all year long. It is a known summit to learn climbing on ice, where even professionals keep practicing.
