Mexico Central - typical local village

Chilchota is a tiny spot on the map, west of Morelia. I stopped there just because I was hungry at the time, and it looked like a charmin place to get half a grilled pollo.

There are schools in most places, even if they dont always look like schools. The kids wear uniforms like in the US. If they live in a place away from the school, the richest can take the school bus (a mini mini van), the others ask for a ride on the side of the street, to jump at the back of any pick-up truck going in the right direction. It seems to be a well used methods. we saw many pick-ups packed of people at the back.
