Preparation of the bike for Central America

BMW F650, 1999, one cylinder with double carburetors. 80% road, 20% off-road.

Spare parts, tools, clothes and camping gears have to fit. Tricky.

Some relevant words from a famous 70s French singer and poet, Jacques Brel. My mum sent them to me. Very adequate to this trip.

Bon Jour, Nico!
Amy, the princess and I are hoping the start of your journey finds you well and that the end will find you in 1 big piece back in Philadelphia. I would have come with you but was afraid that by the time I got back there would be someone else parking his bike where I keep the Brutale!

Just remember:
"A man's work is nothing but this slow trek to rediscover, through the detours of art, those two or three great and simple images in whose presence his heart first opened."
Camus

(you can thank Amy for that, she has a thing for French Philosophers and their cars).

Sorry I missed your Bon Voyage party, I was stuck on my own 'return from vegas' voyage, and got in too late.

Hope you are enjoying you trip and picking bugs out of your teeth as I write this.

Don't let Kagen borrow your pants.
